Collaborative Law

Colin Wibley is pleased to announce that he successfully completed his training as a collaborative lawyer in December 2008.

The firm is now very proud to announce that they have three trained collaborative lawyers (the others being Elizabeth Taylor and Sue Ansell).

Collaborative lawyers are able to provide an alternative approach to finding solutions following the breakup of a marriage, civil partnership or relationship. In this process the parties are encouraged to share their hopes, expectations and even fears and everyone works together to find solutions to allow the parties to emerge from the process ready to get on with the rest of their lives. Often the solution can include a value added element which would not have been achieved through the Courts.

Furthermore it is often said that even though the relationship might have broken down, the collaborative process gives the parties an opportunity to emerge with their family intact.
